Power & Glory 3.0 – Release Closing In

The GT Legends Workshop is in the closing stages of completing their Power & Glory 3.0 mod for GTR2 as a new video and extensive look at the UI show.

The newly released preview video shows the 1972 DeTomaso Pantera Group 4 around Donington Park.

Furthermore, the team has released an in-depth look at the mod’s highly-modified UI that gives GTR2′s a brand new look and feel. You can find the previews below, click here for a detailed rundown and explanation of all the changes.

Power & Glory is based on GT Legends, the mod’s cars have been majorly overhauled by adding graphic details, new physics and more. Click here for a full list of all cars included.

These cars are made for true historic racing enthusiasts, featuring very accurate physics. Even though the mod is based on Simbin’s GT Legends, it will be released without at GTL CD check so all GTR2 owners are invited to join the fun!

    Fortunately we have “visible steering wheel” option :)
    This will definitely be best mod for GTR2 in my opinion and will revive it for many years.

    I hope GTR 2 finds its way to Steam soon. I know they just added GTR, so if they add GTR 2 maybe this mod could also get featured on Steam. I can’t wait to try it out, you can tell it was made by true fans of historic motor racing.

    These are different mods with different goals, no beating needed.
    HistorX is mod about historic racing cars today while P&G present them as they were in 60′s/70′s. HistorX have more cars while P&G is more about quality not quantity :) Etc. etc…

    Heh, not exactly what i meant. They are both very good mods, HistorX is best mod for rfactor in my opinion. Attention to detail is just better in P&G IMHO.

    WOW….Very Nice……..they do all of this for free? I mean ….i love you guys and everything….but this is months and months of work. They should spend a couple more months and learn a game engine and have there own title to sell. IMO….the more “real companies” there are making a living at developing sims……… the better sim racing gets…….. and after taking one look at the tyres sheet in this sim …….. I can tell these fellas are DEDICATED….lol.

    doh! sorry my bad humor Jukka…, im quitting smoking, and in the middle of the mightmare of understand some of the things rFactor2 do….

    our next mod/s will contain less number of cars 4-5.. so we will be able of take care of all the little details deeper.

    Btw, quitting smoking IS really hard,
    I’ve been in that situation myself (few times) unfortunately…
