Below are three new previews of Team GSMF’s Porsche 997 GT3-RSR, one of rFactor’s most followed projects these days. We get to see some detail changes on the car as well as two Tech9 examples going around the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
There is good news for the GTR2 community too as GSMF’s Fonsecker has revealed that the team is willing to give permission for a GTR2 conversion provided that it will be a quality effort. Since rFactor physics can’t be converted straight to GTR2, physics will have to be completely reworked.
GSMF is also looking into the possibility of a simultaneous release for both rFactor and GTR2, should the team find a converter who meets their quality requirements.

This car is absolutely stunning! STUNNING!
It’s BY FAR the best model I’ve ever seen. It’s about time we get some high-polycount models. As much as I feel for those with older computers, game makers and mod makers have to stop catering to 5-year old computers eventually!

p.s. this is no high poly
it has 16k polys…some other mod models have more ;)
at moment, we have much better perf. as in pss07, but at moment, there only 2 skins in it ;)
…ok, it´s not a low poly *gg*
