Porsche 911 GT1 for GTR2 – First Preview Video

Following yesterday’s first batch of previews, Aleksss, Alless & Schraubzwinge have released a first preview video of their Porsche 911 GT1 project for GTR2, showing the car in action at Imola.

Powered by a 3.2 liter twin-turbo flat-six engine, the 911 GT1 was Porsche’s weapon of choice in the FIA GT Championship and the 1998 Le Mans 24 Hours which it won, driven by Alan McNish, Laurent Aiello and Stephane Ortelli.

    Awsum thank god i kept GTR2! My favorite era at Le Mans shame it was so short lived!

    An Rfactor conversion would go down a storm!!!!

    Makes you think, how long till we get that kind of sophisticated aerodynamic physics in a racing-sim? I don’t even think rF2 will achieve it but maybe somebody will within the decade, CPU power is the key. :wink:
