Opel Astra OPC – Preview Videos

Com8 is working on bringing a compact but fairly high-powered street car to rFactor by working on the Opel Astra OPC.

Powered by a 2.0 litre turbo engine, the car puts out 240hp, giving the car a top-end speed of 244 kph. Below are two preview videos, showing the car on the Sachsenring and the Nürburgring.

    I generally have little interest in production cars, but this is very impressive!!

    The model and interior is superb. And it looks to handle realistically, with plenty of body roll etc.

    P.s wonder if com8 would be interested in doing a S2000 version for STCC as I believe someone is running one this season.

    apart from the material looking a bit strange on the rims, it’s sometimes hard to tell the difference from actual video footage.

    Vkt, I can tell you that this is the most convincing FWD car i ever drove in a sim, awesome with realfeel – there is weight transfer, body roll-pitch and sensible street tires … even better than LFS imho!
