I installed this into GTR2, Race’07 and GTL and did see a significant increase in the frame rate in both GTR2 and GTL, With increases up to 50 fps but, in Race’07 there was a decrease and I’m using two BFG OC’D 9600GT’s With all the eye candy turned up, This is a really good add-on and I would like to host this on my web page, with your permission and share it with other Nvidia card owners. Thank you.

This assumes ATI have the same issue with the way that these cards allocate memory for vertex buffers. I’d stay with ATI – much better IQ especially with GMotor2 titles.

it works great with hdr plug in, amazing full grid 22 online NP.

might work with GRiD and DiRT, as both of these have a “trainer” that generates d3d9.dll

not tested in rF, no fps gain in GTR2 w/8400GD oc33%

hypertek: rename your “HDR” dll to d3d9_2.dll and then put the fps fix in. the d3d9.dll fps fix loads d3d9_2.dll when it loads. then you get the bloom plugin.

Why are people calling it a HDR plugin anyway ? Its nowhere near high dynamic ranging. Its a simple bloom. Totally different.

I haven’t got FRAPS installed yet as I’ve literally just rebuilt my PC but this seems to work for me on offline and online GTR Evolution. Running with a full grid max shadows and things are smooth (vsync on) barely any noticable stuttering at Porto even at the start. Running 8800GT on XP Pro SP2 with an OC’d Q6600. I’ll also test it on Vista 64 bit as I have dual boot.

Thanks. This worked very good for me in Rfactor(8800GTS). I may be wrong but I noticed a slight drop in FPS with GTR2. Thank you very much for the great improvement with Rfactor!

With a 8800GT:
rFactor improved the performance of a 30/35%
Turismo Carretera 45/50% (150/160 fps passage of nearly 300 All option full, 48 cars visible )
GTR2 20/25%
Later I will try to GT Legends.
Someone attempt in the offline version of GTR Evo?, It would be very good for the team this Simbin aware of this fix; so that it can include in an upcoming patch; Rob if you contact them, tell them about this fix :razz:
