6e66o has made a new spectacular on-board video of the NLC VLN 2005 mod for rFactor. This time, we ride in the V8-powered BMW E30 M3 around the Nürburgring Nordschleife as the BMW battles with other cars and passes lots of traffic.
In related news, Team NLC has launched a new dedicated website for their mod, containing lots of background info on the VLN series, preview material and more. VLN 2005 will bring over 150 cars in 15 classes, ranging from small tin tops to powerful GTs – All sharing the Nürburgring Nordschleife for astonishing endurance racing action.

Have to say, VLN 2005 looks superb. I was expecting Sabine to swish by at any moment in her ‘taxi’ :)
Probably a stupid question but these cars won’t just be locked to this track right ? I assume we can race them anywhere.

Yes, you will be able to race them wherever you want.
But AI and physics were made to work best at Nordschleife,
cause thats where the cars belong to obviously.

this is the car which i was waiting for about 2 or 3 years
so i can wait a bit more but not too long i can even post you some screens of it which looks 1000 times better than even this movie , so 6e66o please do some screens sometimes

The Mod will come with 10 different Versions of the Track,
for each Race held in 2005.
This means different Textures and ambient settings,
but basicly its always The Ring 2.2a

it will consist only one track ? I have nurbugring version 2.2a is this coming with a new version or new tracks ?

Like 6e66o explained, it will contain the Nordschleife in ten different versions for all rounds of the 2005 season.
The VLN races only on one track, there’s no other possible track this mod could include.
