I wish I`d learnt german so I knew what each variation of the tracks meant.

Well, they aren’t variatons really, the textures just change to reflect the time of the year.

The name of the ten variants are the names of the races which ususally just list the autombible club responsible for this round.

Why would anyone refuse to use a torrent? That’s basically like me saying “And no, I don’t use FTP servers. Ever.” There’s no logic behind the statement at all. It makes no sense. It’s just a way of distributing a file.

So crazy it must be a great mod for rFactor but there is always have great mod raleased May be real great is rFactor :)

WTF is wrong with this mod? It runs like crap on my system, no matter which settings i choose(tried lowering res, all settings to low, etc.), it still runs like… Last night i was online, and if more than 4-5 cars turn the lights on the game is unplayable(15-20fps).
Other mods works fine at Nords. HistorX for example(with many AI cars, all maxed out, 4xAA Supersampling, 1680*1050)), but this one… I have a good PC, C2D E6600 @ 3.2Ghz, 2Gb of ram, GTX260 216 Core Edition(latest drivers). Is there any tip how to tweak this gMotor2 engine or the mod itself, to run at nearly 60fps?

P.S. Gtr Evo with full grid, heavy rain conditions, graph. all maxed out, runs perfect, even with my old card 8800GTS.

Oh, i forgot to add, the mod is great, i really like it. One vid. from last night race, i was in that Shall Opel.

No, i don’t have spotter installed, neither TvStyle plugin as well. Clean rF installed 2 months ago, with few mods and tracks. As you can see in the vid above, that guy has stutters. Exactly the same happens to me. It’s even worse when you start from a back of the grid, and if someone turn the light on i’m enjoying in slideshow.

Have you tried the Nvidia Fps Fix on RFC? Worth a shot if you’re still having problems.

Computers are odd things, I have all sorts of stuttering issues on GTR Evo yet rFactor runs flawlessly…

^ i’ve tried that .dll long time ago with my old card. And yes, it seems to be much smoother gameplay, but i had system lockups/freezing. I don’t feel trying that tweak again, don’t wanna think that my PC can lockup in middle of racing. I really hate when this happens! And it did happen few hours ago when i was online at some german server. In the middle of racing… all with vanilla rF, without any 3rd party addons, my PC were frozen! nVidia really should fix this problem in upcoming drivers for 88xx/2xx series (i’ve searched net, that is a common problem with those cards, it has nothing to do with overheating, it’s a driver isseue.). 3 or 4 yrs ago when i had 7600 everything worked fine with gMotor2 engine.

I’m not diggin’ some of the choices made for engine sounds, but this is definitely a nice mod. The tyres have a nice feel to them, and the physics in general are put together quite well.

Hats off to the mod team. I’m having a lot of fun.

This mod great, definitely my favorite for RF so far, finally multi-class racing with the AI that is believable and great skins and track textures.

I’m hoping they sort out the permission issues so this mod can get the exposure it deserves on rfc and nogrip etc.

The mod has one of my 3D models…nobody ask to me the permission to use it…

Honestly I think this is a bad behavior…

I always permit to use my works after requested, but this really sucks.

Grabing allaround works made by other isn’t modding…and, in my case, there was an EULA in the mod.

today, weischschon has official request to use my work in their mod.

We cleared the situation. Fair enough to give the permission.

I think some of the car models could be easily improved by a good modeler/texture artist. The interiors/exteriors for some of the cars look like they have been untouched for 7 years or so.

I ran in test mode and enjoyed it, but when I loaded a race weekend with 102 drivers for Lauf7 or 89 drivers for Lauf1 after launching and just as the track was completely fully loaded (loading process)it crashes to desktop. I ran the VLN config for the player and followed the instructions for setting the parameters of the sim according to the pdf read me. I have a new computer (quad core, gtx 280, 2G Ram, water cooling for processor and vid card). So what gives? Any advice, please? Thanks gentlemen.

Are you trying it with all details on high? 2GB Ram might not be enough for such a big field

Oh my, the great Montoya answers. With great respect I thank you. It looks like you are right.I had all the video details full or max, X16 anisotropic including shadow blur, except for shadows which are at medium. I guess with 89-102 car field it was to much for this high end computer, because as you said, “2GB Ram might not be enough” (unfortunately until Windows7 comes out, my XP only recognizes 2.75G of the 4G Ram). So I pared back some of the settings and the track fully loaded. Tell me in your opinion what is more important; full proper fields with minimal operable settings or minimal fields w/max settings? Also, when paring down the in game video detail settings what is your order of priorities with these? Thank you also for all your contributions!
