Nissan 350Z – Lots of New Previews

Team GMT has released lots of previews of the Nissan 350Z road car for rFactor, GTR2 & GTR Evolution, showing the Japanese sports car from the inside and outside.

Included are first ever previews of the work-in-progress interior and the tail and headlights, a special feature of the car will be working indicator lights.

Started by Simulationsfanatiker, the project has been taken over by Team GMT to ensure speedy process on the multi-platform mod. Powered by a 3.5 liter V6 engine, the 350Z was built from 2003 to 2009, being available both as coupe and roadster version

Great progress so far.. But the blue hue on the windscreen is a little too much i think. You could use a little more inside reflections instead of coloring the glass maybe.

Cool car. I’m looking forward to this. This always has been a special little car by Nissan.
This is to Nssan what the TT is to Audi. Actually, I have read somewhere that the exterior design is inspired by that of the 1st generation TT. Simply because the designer of the 350Z, Ajay Panchal, was driving a TT when he was drawing the first sketches of the 350Z… :) Although you will never hear him say that out loud, you can see it clearly in the design. And it makes sence ofcourse, because that was one of the cars they were competing with on the sportscoupé market and it still is a styling icon.

Nissan did the right thing though and gave their gem enough power and a serious engine, what cannot be said about the four cylinder audi TT. So, now we see this car ingame and not the TT… I will enjoy it for sure! Keep up the good work!

Please modders. Do us all a favor and stop putting opacity on the windshields.

    Glass does not have opacity.

  • Charles Stanley

    Windshield glass that is.
