Reiza Studios’ BritPack DLC pack for Automobilista is still stuck in beta but to shorten the remaining waiting time, plenty of members with beta access are sharing footage of the new content.

Reiza Studios’ BritPack DLC pack for Automobilista is still stuck in beta but to shorten the remaining waiting time, plenty of members with beta access are sharing footage of the new content.

While we have already seen several cars and tracks the pack will contain in action, a new video now shows off Cadwell Park, one of the three tracks coming with the upcoming pack.

Aside from Cadwell Park, the pack will also introduce Brands Hatch and Oulton Park. Furthermore, the pack will include several Caterham models, the Formula trainer, the MCR Sports 2000 as well as the Ultima GTR which will come in both race and street versions.

The Britpack will sell for $19.99, owners of the Automobilista Season Pass will receive the pack for free.

As I was part of the fund raising I have the Ultima GTR and MCR2000 cars as well as Oulton Park and Cadwell Park tracks already….these 2 cars on these 2 tracks are simply awesome, but favoring the MCR2000 at Oulton Park Classic…just brilliant

    • Jetexocet

I wasn’t part of the fundraising sadly, but your enthusiasm has spiked my interest even more. I enjoy all of the BTCC tracks, especially Croft and Oulton Park, as I’m a big fan of Jason Plato in particular, and BTCC in general. Cadwell I’m not so sure on, I think it’s used more for motorbikes than cars these days, but I may be wrong. One thing I’m not wrong on, is how great Automobilista has become. A fantastic sim. Edit… Is there a legit BTCC mod out for this title?.

Everybody can have this content when purchasing the Season Pass. You just don´t have access to the Beta-forums.

  • GamerMuscle

Love this track m can you believe people drive motorbikes around here lol !

    • Richard Hessels

Jumping from one corner to another.

    • Leynad

Hard enough to keep all wheels of this Formula car on this crazy track. It loves the rear traction loss and feels much more easy to drive on Brands Hatch GP.

    • Leper Messiah

Just don’t look up Leon Camier crashing at Cadwell’s Mountain…..ouch.

  • ImageArtSigns .

The MCR 2000 is very easy to drive, quick and nibble around Cadwell Park’s very tight and challenging layout…a real pleasure to drive, just awesome

  • Richard Hessels

Looking forward to race on it.
Some points i think that could be addressed.
The amount of spectators is very overdone.
Only for Motorracing events draw such amount of people, they come to watch the jumping bikes.
There could be more objects casting shadows near the track.
These are mostly very simple structures, so impact would be hardly noticeable.
But would make those object stand out much better.

    • Alex Sawczuk

Spectators are modelled on a reasonably well attended event, about 1/3rd of the people who attend for BSBK. Also more shadows aren’t possible with out an entire new system.

      • Richard Hessels

More than nothing? You can make quite a lot of shadows when you use low poly shadowobjects. The casting not have to be highres.

That photo you showed is from a motorbike race, those races pull 3x times a s much people.

Really is a fantastic content. The video shows that the track was very well built, with many details. Congratulations Reiza guys. For me it is one more wonderful and detailed job of Reiza Studios. Automobilista is really great, with several and very impressive innovations,

    • Leynad

Plus it have some accurate and popular Mod-tracks nowadays big thanks Patrick Giranthon. Just check a few so far and Bathurst is really great.

      • jotaf1df

Yes dude, I agree. I have many tracks of Patrick, he’s my friend, a really great modder and great guy. A hug.

  • SuperSportBilly

That looks fantastic. I did a track day via bookatrack a few years ago at Cadwell Park in a Caterham and that reminds me of it perfectly. The way the car moves and drifts and the undulations of the track – brilliant. Can’t wait to try it myself in the Caterham too.

I have also done quite a few track days at Donington too so hope that comes along at some point.

I think a BTCC car would be fantastic too – particularly one from the 90’s.

    • Leynad

Caterhams will come in the build next week, some bird told me.

  • Patrik Marek

this looks quite decent, glad to see them improving visuals at least a little bit

  • Henriette Gaston

Some people value quality. You don’t have to.

I would like to think because this is Reiza’s first outing as a Sim Developer…new kids on the block so to speak, they have worked wonders on an old game engine and made a very consistent looking, playing Sim with great physics and Audio…I would say Automobilista is Reiza’s practice Sim possibly, getting their feet wet and I can only imagine what brilliance they will bring in the future….stay positive.

  • Sprinter

So you suggest using a track that is ripped from iRacing.
And who was the person accusing Enduracers for using content from pCARS because they made a screenshot on a track that is conversion from AC? It was Tilke. No, it was Santa. No wait, it was you, Mel.
