netKar Pro – Oval Beta Released

Posted on April 28th, 2009 in

Roel de Jong has been working on a scratch-made oval track for netKar Pro, adding a new type of racing track to the recently updated simulation.

With traditional road courses already being available and a hillclimb track coming up, the oval adds another discipline of motorsports to netKar Pro.

A beta of the new track is available for everyone to try, check out the track in the video below and make sure to give the beta a spin afterwards.

Hillclimb  , that is what i really like. Will it be fictional or real based on track?

Why are there flagstands at the entrance and exit of all four corners? If those are supposed to be marshal’s posts, that’s very unrealistic.

Take it from this Yank: No oval has overhanging marshal’s posts in the corners, for safety reasons. The only overhang you’ll find on an oval is the starter’s stand at the start-finish line.

Glad someone is bringing an oval to NetKar, though!
