Looks great, and sounds very nice too!

Just gave the abarth a spin at aosta, bloody good fun! Very controllable on the limit but still a handful if you play around with the safe default setup. And the track is interesting as well, the shadows on this one really add to the actual driving since they tend to obscure a fair few of the corners.

Watch at around the 50-second mark of the above video. I don’t know much about the handling of an Abarth, but braking starts at the 50-meter board for a hairpin after a long straight in a production-based touring car?

    Hmm …

  • ForzaBarca88

Not sure which vid ur referring to but the thing is slow in terms of top speed, only weighs 930kgs, and has damn good brakes if I recall. Felt about right driving it anyway, my only question mark so far would be the rear wheels which lock up too easily. But it wouldnt surprise me if thats how the real car behaves.

  • AeroMechanical

He is however only going about 100mph at the end of that straight and brakes to 70mph for the turn-in point. I of course don’t know much about the handling of an Abarth either, but that doesn’t necessarily seem all that unreasonable.

  • Paul Kelly

OK, Aero. I didn’t see the top speed. It just seemed weird that a production-based touring car at full song on a straight could go so deep into the braking zone before a hairpin. That wasn’t Blanchimont — it was a hairpin.

Then again, I don’t know much about an Abarth. Looks like a cool little car, though!

Can’t drive ’cause sim crashed everytime when I try to go to controller settings…

And it seem that there isn’t fix for it(?) At least yet.

  • schuubars

Did you use before the detection?

There is a little problem with the detection, after detecting the gas pedal fully, it tells to use again the gas pedal, instead you shoul’d use the brake pedal, after i realized that the controller settings didn’t crash NKPro 1.1 anymore.

btw it’s beta so send a bug report.(the button which has no text on it below the main menu.

OT, NKPro still one of the most immersive and fun sims. to drive, imo.
