netKar Pro – Lamborghini Preview Video

The Radiator Springs Racing Team has released a new preview video of the Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni, the first-ever modding car for netKar Pro.

The video shows the Italian supercar in drift action at Zandvoort as the team is completing the beta tests with the car.

Powered by a V10 engine, the Superleggera is a more extreme version of Lamborghini’s popular Gallardo, having more power and weighing less than the standard model thanks to the usage of carbon fibre.

So we have to appriciate what they are doing and say only a big thanks!
Nkpro may have many disandvantages but when it comes the time to drive u forget everything,so when it released dont look at lampo just drive it :D

And that poor shading is still trying to live. Not good anyways.

    from our website: http://www.radiators-champ.com

“We spent the last weeks with one goal in mind: having a good car handling.
Our approach is simple: use real data, study as long as we have a good understanding of how any parameter affect the car behaviour, having feedback from drivers that drove this car in real life, and a lot of tests and experiments.

Our testing sessions are getting good results, and we are improving day by day. We are getting really positive comments from our testers, and we feel that we are getting closer and closer to the public release, although we still need to do some work on the 3d.

Some days ago we had a lot of fun watching Maarten Steverink having fun drifting our Lamborghini around his home circuit. He used to do the same in real life, and he is trying out similar setup settings, to test our car in extreme conditions.
His impressions? Well…I think the video says it all.”

This is just a temporary version created for testing purposes. The focus of the test was car handling.
We are in beta testing phase, and what you see is just a work in progess. In the next weeks we will work on improving our 3d and  we will create nice skins.

2 years ago it would have been a blast… You should concentrate on AC, RSRT!

  • Skytrill .

98% of peoples in here seem to only care about graphics which is such a shame on a racing simulation forum. It’s the handling that matters in a sim, not the canvas or polygons!!!!! do you actually drive these sims or you just walk around taking pictures??? A sim programmer once said: Im making a racing simulator not a screenshot generator.

Thanks for Radiator Springs for all their work in this mod and I hope we’ll be able to try it soon!

Looking forward to it, really glad you guys are taking the physics seriously :)
Nothing brings a mod down like crap handling.
Also dont take the criticism about the graphics too seriously, you can only work with what you have.
And NKP’s 6 year old gfx engine is all we have until AC comes out unfortunately.
