German PC Games magazine has released a batch of new Need for Speed Shift preview screenshots, mainly showing the Porsche 997 GT3-RSR and some other cars.
Furthermore, the shots show us some more of the Nürburgring Nordschleife in Shift as the famous Caroussel can be seen.
Developed by Slightly Mad Studios (former Blimey! Games) and distributed by EA, Need for Speed Shift is expected to be released in September 2009 for the PC and all major consoles. A demo of Shift has been announced to be available this summer.

Awesome!
When I see those great detailed cockpit views with the MOTEC, I always forget this is going to be NFS!!
Cant wait!

A bit more of a texture boost on the car & cockpits and I’d be completely sold. Track textures are fine though, finally a shot without blur.

Slightly Mad Studios is it the old simbin/blimey?
This look like Race 07 with the blur and reflections/HDR from the previous NFS
Looking forward to see what this will end up like.

No lol, SMS is the old Blimey! and it co-worked with Simbin and 10tacle in GT Legends, they did BMW M3 Challenge and other great works :)

I think Simbin holds the FIA GT license?
Oh, and I might be nitpicking, but the rollcage in the RSR looks really weird
