choooops: Sensekhmet, if I steal your lawn mower, you lose your lawn mower and have to buy another one. If I on the other hand download a game, I then copy it, and no-one lost a thing. There’s a slight difference. And I’m not in anyway saying that downloading is legal and/or a good thing. It isn’t. But I can’t stand the MAFIAA and the people who actually belive what they say. Do you also belive that one downloaded game = one lost sale? Bah. I’m looking forward to Shift. It looks better then anything else, with our without ads.

The asians are any way not going To Buy the game if they cant get a pirated one bcause they cant afford to buy every game Which comes out So Any way , How many ever game downloaded = doesnt matter. :D

PC or ps3 is a no-brainer for me.

PC, better graphics, anti-aliasing, modding, better controller configuration, better online players to race against. (more players use a steering wheel)

I'm still waiting for Prototype C, God knows how long after it was first announced, so don't talk to me about mods that are now, IMO, too ambitious for the teams. My PS3 has already given me 3 years of cutting edge gaming and Blu-ray, it will be good for NFS Shift, it's sequals, GT5 etc., no need to upgrade to the latest graphics card every 18 months.

f0xx: I’ve spent 500 euros with my PC and it runs everything maxed except for gta IV. PC version will let us tune more things ingame, achieve better graphics, add MODS, etc.. The money you have spent on the PS3 was more than enough to get a good PC ;)

I’m with “Skazz”. I like the changing atmosphere, don’t care if the developers found another way to make money. That in turn saves me money. (the PC version is only 40$ vs. 60$ for the consoles. To top it off I don’t read the ads. Some one complained about the unreal ads on the “Nord”. I had to watch the video three times. Before I saw the offending ad. Now if they can just change the crowds watching the race. That would be nice.

NFS:S post comments here are pure comedy these days.

I’ve decided that I actually rather like Simbin’s changing advertising. For a start it’s actually relevant content, and then because it changes you actually see something change on an otherwise static track. It’d be even better if they got conditions to change with the seasons or added realistic location-specific weather based on the forecast for that day, but at least changing adverts is a start.

As for the preview… I’m really looking forward to the demo. Please stop teasing us and just give us the demo NFS! I need a good week to try them out and decide between PS3 and PC versions!

JAGUAR1977: Each passing day the PS3 version looks like the one to go for, Logitech wheel support, no ad’s (not that it makes a great deal of difference), no need to spend hundreds of pounds upgrading your PC, plug and play etc.

But can you mod the game ? No you can't on consoles, and probably PC version will have the Secret Sim mode which Ian Bell talked about earlier.
