While everyone wants to bash this even though no one has actually driven this yet, I was impressed about 40 seconds in with the way the Ai car gets flipped.

Unlike ISI based games like Evo and rFactor the car seemed to behave realistically once off the ground. Normally we see them flying around like a UFO, but that car had some real weight and airbourne physics  .

Finally I know the meaning of Shift, you have to start from the back of the field in a car that is faster than the opponents and try to wreck as many of them as possible and then you win.

I know I can be pretty critical of overhyped monsters that rely on their neat movies to market a game rather any kind of compelling gameplay but this trailer is horrible. All these quick cuts are too distracting. You get all into a scene that then "cut" another scene.

Indeed, and GT5 fits the definition of "underhype".

Two very different ways of marketing. I know I'm getting more annoyed by NFS's lack of demo, rather than lack of information though.

People with consolitis buy anything that is shiny and the more they release their trailers the probability of attracting more console gamers increases.

For people on this website we need a demo to be convinced of buying it for sure, otherwise I have an alternate way to test the game when it comes out :happyevil:

Good grief, just how many trailers can you put out for ONE GAME?

The word "overhype" springs to mind. (Not that that is actually a word.)
