It would be nice if they add a look-to-apex setting like in this video.

The new mode looks nice but Im guessing all the cars will bang against eachother through the entire track XD.

Regarding the patch for this game: the preliminary date for the PS3 patch is on the 23rd (Nov), the PC and the 360 will be on the same date as the DLC (Dec 1st).

If the damage was realistic, people might be discouraged from ramming.

Hmmm…should we interpret this so that the PS3 version has sold the most units and/or is their lead platform?

  • Raikku

Don’t know that, but PS3-version really need updating, graphics are quite horrible and drivebility is worse than in PC-version.

I have both versions, and I’ve tried Xbox-demo too.

The patch is across the all platforms- it’s probably due to the time it took for EA, MS and Sony to verify (QA?) the patch for each of the platforms. To make this clear, the info I’ve got is from the game’s community lead- Andrew or Vacouverblade.

I think it’s awesome that we’re getting some cool cars for free. Don’t care for the new MP mode though.

The bugs have put me off for now but I can’t wait for the patch. I’m annoyed that it took so long especially considering the game’s current state, but I can’t say I didn’t get my moneys worth from Shift.

Looks like to me their setting up a place for folks to bang up each other…. so the racers can race elsewhere cleanly.

Folks are always negative… did you even think many kids and owners of this game enjoy banging and crashing each other? If a person wants to play as an aggressive driver… in career mode they can and now, instead of playing on-line against racers who like it clean and precise… they can race others who like it hard and banged up.

Folks are always so freaking negative… Blimey and EA are offering free muscle cars since there were not but one o’l car in the game, many had asked for this… I say THANKS —> SMS and EA!

Finally it’s FREE FOLKS… No Money so stop complaining… Also, as listed, the patch is set to fix many many issues, lets give them a chance. I hope a nice new track or two is in the wings too!

SHIFT… Driving Game of the Year for the fact of bring New and Fresh “Driving Experience” Great Job Blimey
