Need for Speed Shift – Corvette Stingray Renders

Following lots of impressive renders of various rFactor mods, F1Racer has now switched his attention to Need for Speed Shift, releasing four renders of the 1973 Corvette Stingray.

Click the picture below to get to the full set consisting of four high-resolution renders in different liveries, the Corvette was recently added to Shift with the release of the five-car DLC pack.

The Edge in the Studio looks to “hard” (from Grey to White), the carpaints looks milky

First issue is down to lighting. I`ll fix that.
Carpaints are ‘milky’ probably because they are only 1024×1024 res so the smaller logos become blurry.
I can only work with what’s available unfortunately.

It might be an idea for me to go with plain colours on the cars rather than work liveries so that we don’t get blurred logo’s.

    Sorry.. but this is not a 73 corvette.. it’s 63.. maybe it’s a typo…

    It’s not a ’63 either :) I think 63′s had split rear windows. This one doesn’t.
Hence why I put that it’s a 1967 on my website. (Which is what it says in Shift also).

Shift claims it to be a 67 and if that’s the case not all of them came with the split window.

BTW would like to see this car rendered with higher res livery. Its a fantastic model as far as general quality but its held back with the crappy 1024×1024 res livery.

Yeah I was disappointed to see that the liveries were only 1024×1024 :(
Maybe we’ll get some nice user-made ones. There’s a lot of talented skinners out there. No-Grip have Shift skins but I haven’t checked any out to see their resolutions but I`ll keep my eyes open for them as I do these cars.

Yeah… sorry.. i couldn’t see the rear window very well… it is the 67.. looks nice.. maybe someone can fix the side mirrors so they look more like the real ones.. unless they used these types .. i haven’t seen a pic with that type of mirror on the car..
