EA is on a roll these days, releasing previews of their upcoming Need for Speed Shift title on a daily basis. The newest previews show the Audi R8 LMS race car from the inside and outside. Despite releasing plenty of preview material, there still is no word on when the much-anticipated demo will be available.
Build by Audi Motorsport, the Audi R8 LMS is Audi’s weapon of choice for the FIA GT3 class. Powered by a V10 engine, the car made a spectacular competition debut at this year’s Nürburgring 24 Hour race driven by some of Audi’s best known works drivers.
Developed by Slightly Mad Studios (former Blimey! Games) and distributed by EA, Need for Speed Shift is expected to be released in September 2009 for the PC and all major consoles. A demo of Shift has been announced to be available this summer.

Ah, much better shots! (Although small) anti-aliasing is working it’s magic. 4th shot looks like a fun track.

Damn… That cockpit is beautiful! Fantastic detail that EA itself could of never done. Thanks SMS.

This looks nice, the cockpit especially.
If I hear some positive ‘Sim’ replies on the demo I might just get this game.
