EA has released a rather strange new teaser for their upcoming Need for Speed Shift title which you can watch below.
Much more interesting are the two blog posts by Gamerzines.com who got to check out a preview version of Shift. They give us a detailed look at the game’s tuning and upgrade options, two of the main elements in Shift’s career mode.

I think the message is; you have a choice of 3 better supercars but you’ll still pick the porker because you’re a fanboy.
Nah, I have nothing against porches really. Just everybody tends to buy them over here because it’s the only reasonable priced reliable sports car available for people with no imagination and lives that didn’t turn out as well as they hoped.

Looks like GTR2 + NFS. Not bad. Logic would dictate that if they put this many options into the tuning the physics would be good. But then again…

looks very interesting. that video was stupid but the other links were great. I cant wait for the demo. The demo will determine wether I will buy Shift or not.

Thats pretty slick (except for the wooly Stig).
Be nice to see some proper PC footage.

That is the most retarded video yet. I think its strange that they hire a well known simulations crew to do their new (and revamped) NFS, and we have yet to see any footage aimed at the sim crowd.
Demoooo.

One of the most perplexing posts I’ve ever read on VirtualR. I wanted a porsche but I’m not going to buy one if it causes the local hoodie wearing teenagers to point at me and accuse me of having a lack of imagination and a life full of wasted potential. This is almost as bad as the time a homeless guy accused me of being a sell out.
