The Mod Squad has released their COT Platinum G2 mod for NASCAR Heat, bringing the 2009 NASCAR Sprint Cup Season to the simulation.
Even though NASCAR Heat was released in 2000, the simulation still looks pretty neat and should be interesting especially for owners of slower computers. The mod adds full widescreen support to the simulation, NASCAR Nationwide, Speedcar Series and other carsets will be coming up in the future.
Follow the download link below to get to the detailed userguide, explaining how to get your NASCAR Heat experience going. The base version of the game which is required to use the mod is completely free, making this a de-facto freeware NASCAR simulation.
