MMG F1 2008 – Force India Previews + Sound Video

MMG has released a bunch of new preview material of their Formula One 2008 mod for rFactor.

Four new preview screenshots show the Force India VJM-01 on track two of the shots are edited while the other two show the car as it runs in rFactor. Furthermore, a new preview video gives us an idea of the mod’s work-in-progress sounds as we get to listen to the BMW F1.08 at Magny-Cours.

Following their popular 2007 mod, F1 2008 will bring all cars and drivers of last year’s season to rFactor – A season that will go down in history as having one of the closest championship fights ever.

    I think the upshift should sound a lot louder though.
    Hope we can get an option with arms on the wheel too.

    also is it me or does the onboard seem faster then normal it feels like the video is slightly fast forwarding.

    …..they need to focus a lot more on the sounds then the models.

    That’s my impression too: the sound itself is good, but it should be much les high pitched.

    That’s just because whoever made it, has a high FOV setting.

    Internally the sounds are not bad, but they dont blend very well. Externally there is more work needed, The game is distorting the sounds very badly, it only sounds accurate at very narrow windows, like when the car is accelerating at a certain point, the rest sounds stretched and distorted

    Mod has been 2 years in development and the sounds still suck? Might be good in another 2 years.
