The projected release date of MMGs Formula One 2007 mod for rFactor is closing in and the team is obviously very busy finishing up the latest bits and pieces. After the safety car and helmets last week, this time its driver bodies. Have you ever wondered why the demo of the mod did not have any drivers in the car? The answer is simple, they just were not done back then.

From Petros Mak’s blog comes info on the sound side of the mod. While the demo used the stock ISI Formula sounds, the full version will have proper sounds. The team’s sound guy Antonio is working on a new sound pack, his skills can be seen (heard rather) in the MMG F1 1991 video previews. With the release closing in quickly, individual sounds for each team will much likely not be done in time and released later – the initial release will feature a new all-purpose sound instead.
