Milestone/Black Bean Games Survey

Milestone and Black Bean Games are looking for gamers opinion on their SBK 2009 Superbike Title, asking racing gamers to fill out a little survey.

Even though VirtualR hasn’t covered the Superbike series, filling out this survey is a good idea even if you haven’t tried the game yet as it gives sim racers a chance to voice their opinion to a racing game developer.

Milestone and Black Bean have also released Superstars V8 Racing, a title that received mixed reviews from sim racers and will be followed by a successor, let’s hope that the studio will take suggestions seriously.

Mitos dont talk rubbish, SBK09 is a very good game very playable and very enjoyable to play. Graphics are very good aswell.

Superstars V8 Racing on the other hand was a tad dissapointing, although for Milestone’s first ever car racing game it was very good.

Rubbish is your opinion! SBK09 is a very good game for anybody who don`t need in realistic physics & graphics, for example – console owners…
I want quality, modern product like MotoGP`07 by ex-Climax. I don`t need trash from Milestone and Monumental Games – MotoGP`08, SBK`08, SBK`09, MotoGP`09/10 etc…

I completely disagree, the circuits in Moto GP 08 and SBK 09 are fantastic. I run on PC in High resolution and they’re fantastic and smooth.

I also think Moto GP 08 is every bit as good or better than Moto GP 07 I have both for PC and 360.

You obviously don’t have a clue about what you’re talking about. You say SBK09 is for people who doesn’t want realistic physic and graphics, and than you say you want the quality of the Climax games, where the main feature were races with fictional bikes on fictional tracks. Strange idea of quality, for a game called Moto Gp. Oh, by the way, Monumental Games are ex-Climax: enjoy your future Moto Gp 09/10, as it already looks horrible.

By the way, Monumental Games was founded in 2005 out of the remnants of Climax’s Nottingham Studio, which had been working on a MMOG based on the Games Workshop’s Warhammer licence. Former studio Climax Racing was acquired by Disney Interactive Studios and rebranded Black Rock Studios. Therefore it`s U obviously don’t have a clue about what you’re talking about.

Com8 Nordschleife 2009 – Five New Previews

After being busy with other track projects for quite a while, Com8 has released some new previews of a very much anticipated track for rFactor - The Nürburgring Nordschleife 2009. Based on the original Simbin version, Com8's 2009 version will contain many changes such as new textures & shaders, remodelled curbs, the removal of all fictional advertisement boards and lots of trackside objects. Grand Slam 1.0 – Released

Following the two betas released a year ago, Team Players have released the final version of their Grand Slam mod for rFactor, bringing the DP class of the 2006 Grand Am Rolex Sports Car Series to the simulation. Targa Florio for rFactor – Lots of New Previews

6e66o has released a new batch of preview shots of the Targa Florio conversion project, showing us two edited and plenty of unedited shots of the legendary Italian track in rFactor. The Porsche 904 featured in the shots has been made by HistorX, creators of the Historic GT & Touring Car mod for rFactor, who have recently announced a co-operation with the Targa Florio conversion team. Rouen les Essarts All Platforms – Released

Virtua_LM has released GT Legends, GTR2 and RACE07/GTR Evolution versions of their popular Rouen les Essarts track for rFactor, bringing the spectacular historic race track to Simbin's most popular simulations. The legendary French circuit is a high speed semi-permanent racetrack, famous for its fast sweeps and the brickyard hairpin. rFactor 2 – Plenty of New Previews

Three months after showing us the last two of rFactor 2 screenshots, Image Space Incorporated has released a bunch of new preview material of their upcoming simulation.
