LMT F1 2010 – Toro Rosso STR5 Renders

Team LMT has released new previews of their Formula One 2010 modding project for rFactor, showing us six fully-textured renders of the Toro Rosso STR5 model.

Driven by Sebastien Buemi & Jaime Alguersuari, the STR5 is powered by a Ferrari 056 V8 engine. The car delivered its best result at the Canadian Grand Prix when Buemi finished 8th, the team clinched 13 championship points during the course of the season.

LMT F1 2010 will include all cars and drivers of the 2010 Formula One season, the mod will be released either for rFactor or rFactor 2, depending on rFactor 2’s availability.

    Nice shots.  This mod looks to be coming on nicely.  
     
    If I can give some advice, you just need less specular and glossiness on those tyres and I think you will improve the renders even further.   Try 10% specular and 15% glossiness (thats how I have it in Lightwave).   Gives them a more rubbery look.   Although teams do tend to shine their tyres for studio shots.  Just a personal preference really.
