Com8 has released a fix for his popular Laguna Seca 1.2 track for rFactor that addresses graphical issues in combination with the Endurance Series Mod’s headlights.
Furthermore, a new high-resolution version of the satellite image used for the track is available, make sure to have a fairly powerful machine before using that though.
The 2.2 mile track is located in western California and is one of North America’s most prestigious road courses. The circuit hosts an annual Moto GP round as well as ALMS and Rolex Series sports car races, highlight of the layout is the stunning corkscrew corner.
Important: This patch will cause online missmatches if not installed on the server.

“make sure you have a fairly powerful machine before using that though.”
I’m ringing DELL now to custom design a high-end system specifically to handle that single 2Mb .dds file upgrade.
Forget Crysis or Call of Duty 4. Next time you order a PC, tell ‘em you want to be able to run the 2Mb .dds upgrade at Laguna Seca.

some objects got darkened when lit because of shader issues with transparent objects (in laguna seca case the skybox, some fencing and trees)
i just removed the “lit at night” tag from those to fix it
