Just a video of a quick (and bad) lap I did from two angles. I’m playing with the 360 controller with a slightly modified setup. Really enjoying it so far and I can’t wait to get into it with my G25.

I love karting, so will be trying this out this afternoon.
Looking at the name, is it based on Netkar or anything?

Am downloading, a few laps is all it should take to make the purchace decision, if its better then anything Rfactor has to offer then it will be a SNAP!!!

This sim is awesome…….Force feedback is spot on…….kart flex style physics (truly feels like a kart)……cold/warm tires…..rain….debris and tear offs……skinnable models and sharp graphics……importable tracks……and its only beta….woah.

Oh……the shifter karts are even crazier.

For the guy who asks below if it has anything to do with nKPro, the answer is no. KRP uses its own scratch made engine.

looks really good! will try it out later! i just hope it is supported better than gp bikes and WSR by the same developer. i personally will only be buying if i see the game is supported well!

I will say while i am impressed with it, i dont get the feedback i would expect, having had driven many karts the feedback doesnt feel right. The kart tho does behave as it should under heavy braking and gets unsettled easily over the kerbs.
The wet weather is very impresive considering it is not an AA title.
The graphics are also a high point.
All it needs is some FFB physics tweaks and it will be game on!!!!

no real feel in the transition of grip, dont get me wrong the kart handled the way it should, just the feel wasnt translated through the ffb, im on a g25.

Ok whoever built the physics for this absolutely NAILED it. You steer with the throttle, the kart gets unstable under braking and the general handling of the thing is so close to what I remember. Really good job!

Hm, I don’t know, in my case it feels as it should. I’m on a G25 too, but I have to admit that I have not tested it extensively (for example I havent’t raced in wet conditions yet). Unfortunately I had a real life accident and my right hand hurts too much to test any sim any time soon.

Lets hope piboso keeps developing this game more than he did GPBikes, I would think he would as this has more potential as a money maker. Motorbike sims are too niche unfortunalty.

This game just takes you breathe away.  The graphics are best I have seen from a sim, the handling is so close to the real thing, the rain just have to see to believe.  As a beta I know there are still things to work on I understand that.  I would add progress bars between loading screens to let you know its working.  The only problem I ran into is that I run my computer on a 52″ tv and when set to full screen mode, no matter the resolution the screen was off center and way to the left.  I tried every setting and nothing worked, so I was forced to run in window mode.  Has anyone ran into the same problem?  Like to know how to fix if possible.  I run a brand new ATI HD6870 card so I know its not a graphic card problem.

change your resolutions untill you find one that fits

sorry meant to say the picture was off center and to the right.   Looked like the screen was about 3 times the size of what my tv could display.

I’ve tried every resolution that I could nothing worked.  It just happened when I tired to use Full screen mode.  In windows mode it worked just fine at 1920X1080. 

found the problem.  I switch to running 16 bit display and full screen works perfect at 1080p, but when I try to run at 32 bit display the screen is off

This is really very nice but I would like to see at least one of Piboso’s games finished to the final version. But I have to say that this look like the most impressive so far and I am afraid that rF2 karting will be much worse than this…

I also whink its a nice game, but there is 1 thing i would like to coment…..

Its the KS1 (KZ2), where the engine (in the real life) is a “boost” engine when its only can drive with max power from 13.000 to 16.000, and not a normal engine when the max power comes slowly from 6.000 to ex. 16.000…….. just a coment :-D

Is there any way to disable auto brake in demo ?

Tried PiBoSo’s Kart Racing Pro tonight, and it runs HORRIBLY on my 128 MB ATI Radeon Mobility X1400 graphics card, even with all settings turned low. Slide show. Undriveable. 

Odd, considering the Readme said the minimum card needed is 64 MB. Odd how I can run rFactor and iRacing with no problem on my lappy but not a homebrew kart racing sim.

yea I agree they still need to work on the motor, it does seem to die at the bottom end

Why people try to play games on a laptop is beyond me, but this game is graphic heavy and shouldn’t be ran on anything less than an above average desktop

to me there is just no feel of transition in the ffb. I can see and hear the transitions happening, but there is no feel through the steering as to the transition happening. where in karts i can tell what it is doing to the mm through the steering

You problem is the amount of videomemory, or the lack of.
128mb is very little for a modern game.

This game seems to be very great, better than rF kart mods. But there is some mystakes, like in slicks on water, where there is NO grip on front. But the rear seems good. And with wet tyres, the times are too fast.
The defaut setup is awful, be careful.
