Joey Logano Driving Gran Turismo 5 – Video

We´ve already seen a wide variety of real-life racing drivers trying various simulations and driving titles and below is the newest example as NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Joey Logano was recently filmed trying Sony’s upcoming Gran Turismo 5 title.

Logano can be seen driving the Toyota FT-86 at Tokyo, beating the lap time of Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi who was also present at the private GameStop manager convention.

Gran Turismo 5 will be bringing 1000 cars and over 60 tracks to the Playstation 3, including new features such as damage, weather and day/night effects. GT5 will be one of the first six Playstation 3 games to be available in 3D. The title will be out on November 2nd in the North & Latin America, the European & Japanese release will follow a day later with Australia wrapping up the release on November 4th.

Basically i don’t give a hood about what they say coz these real life drivers are just there for that campaign& they are paid to say good things about the game. Besides i don’t think they give a hood if it is realisticcally simulated their discipline coz in the end of the day they still get to driver the real thing. BUT WE DON’T.

I never claimed or suggested that this means that Gran Turismo 5 is realistic or whatever, it’ obviously a sponsorship event as GameStop is one of Logano’s part-time sponsors.

Still, I think it’s cool to see race drivers involved with stuff like that..maybe it’s just me though.
