Back in May, I posted a first story on jDome, a new solution to let gamers see 50% more of the gaming enviroment and help the immersion of being inside their game.
Now, jDome’s John Nilsson has sent me a new video, showing the jDome at work with Simbin’s brand new STCC – The Game simulation. Right now, jDome is still in prototype status and is expected to hit the mass market next year.

Looks interesting, but it also looks like a projector is required. Or did I miss an earlier video?

Yes, it does need a projector and this is a rather rough prototype. It is probably the perfect tool for the simracer. With some RnD and sponsors for the production, it would be cool if they supplied purpose-built projectors with the jDome. Simply awesome though
