I´ve already showcased quite a few G25 mods that used the excellent base of Logitech’s best wheel to use a custom wheel.
Here’s a new approach as the G25 has been paired up with Thrustmater’s Ferrari F1 wheel. A quite clever solution, combining the G25’s excellent Force Feedback with an affordable F1-look wheel without the need to built one from scratch.
Those of you who like this idea will have to look quite hard to find one of the Thrustmaster wheels though as the F1 wheels are not in production anymore.

Too bad, logitech should think about to produce a similar kind of wheel!

The main reason why Raffaele realized this solution, by the way, is a bit different: as he wrote on our forum, the wheel was realized for a boy who can’t use his leg, so he is forced to drive (accelerate and brake) with hands. Now he can do this thanks to the gearbox mounted on the back of the wheel: something like Zanardi does in order to drive his BMW in the WTCC championship. ;)

Im not quite with you Uff. The original G25 had gearbox paddles on the back also.
Or do you mean the lower paddles ? Are they analogue and can simulate a progressive accelerator/brake combo ?
Looks very cool I have to say and for Raffaele to make this for this boy is very admirable.

He added an USB controller in order to control buttons on the wheel and the clutch paddles: now they are analogue and he can simulate pedals with those. ;)

Very cool. I wouldn’t mind one of those conversions myself. Looks the business.
