Nice track build as always, great texturing and details.

Iracing`s car models may be falling a bit behind the new entries but damn can they nail the tracks. Iracing is the only sim putting out real life looking venues. Those motegi shots are fantastic.

The DoF filter was left on so these screen shots don’t look nearly as sharp.

None the less, It’s time for iRacing to hand over their crown as track building kings. The Assetto Corsa engine now reign.

one thing I hate in iRacing is the fact all tracks have this same feeling and colors. It’s almost as all tracks are located in the same place but different tracks if you know what I mean.

i don´t hate it, but you are right. Always the same (incredible) textures again and again…

O.K. It will reign, when it’s released. :p

But the list of graphical features the Assetto Corsa engine has over iRacing’s is huge.

They all have the same feelings and colors because asphalt looks the same the world over.  Some tracks, like Sebring are concrete, and therefor look different.  Duh.

Depends on how fast iRacing works. They’re working on a Dx11 update right now, depending on their pace they might get there before AC is released. It’s going to be a race of the slow developers, lol.

Gotta compare the progress when they’re both released, otherwise iRacing wins because you can’t do anything with AC right now ;)

I don’t know what you mean. Maybe the fact that most tracks have mid afternoon lighting? New Smyrna is an interesting one to compare to, its daytime lighting is an evening light.

Beyond that, I’m not sure how else the tracks should look different. Only so many variations of concrete, asphalt, grass, and trees.

Marcos I bet you will say iRacing has got the best FFB ever as well. I know you from the forums iRacing’s biggest sucker going as far as saying the NTM is perfect ya you are the perfect moron!

I feel Oulton for example has a completely different lighting then other tracks. 
Just by looking at the clouds you sit there in the car hoping for it not to rain. 
A very UK/rainy feeling at Oulton imo. 

While other tracks have a sun and clear weather. 

Can´t exactly claim that isn´t the case for you as well just by looking at the above comments :P

what?? I have never said that, and I am on iRacing forums but I do not participate very often… I am sure you are confusing me with another guy or I am not understanding your message… (btw i rather rfactor2 FFB, and I like NKpro very much too)
