Virtua_LM has released the Fuji Speedway for rFactor, adding a historical one of Japan's most important race tracks to the simulation. Based on the version released for F1 Challenge, the track has been extensively modified and revamped to make most of rFactor's graphic engine. Included are the 1982, 1990 & 1993 layouts of the track as well as the 1993 bike configuration. GTL, GTR2 & GTR Evolution versions of this release will be coming up soon! Back in December, a new simulation software studio opened its doors as Reiza Studios officially picked up business. Now, the studio has revealed their first project, announcing the Formula Armaroli race car for rFactor. Made in co-operation with Armaroli Simulators, the Formula Armaroli car is a fictional open-wheel race car modelled after 80s Formula One machinery. The car weighs 540 kilos and is powered by a 650hp turbo engine, bringing some of the best action in Grand Prix history to the simulation. Jessica, Darin & Shaun of InsideSimRacing.tv were recently joined by Image Space Incorporated's Gjon Camaj who visited the guys for an interview in an upcoming SRT episode. ISI's head-honcho did not come empty-handed though as Camaj showed off rFactor 2's user interface for the very first time. About a year ago, Team NLC announced a sucessor to their popular VLN 2005 mod for rFactor, planning to bring the 2009 season of Germany's popular racing series to the simulation. As promised, Codemasters have just released the first of their developer diary videos, introducing us to some of their staff and showing off first-ever moving footage of F1 2010 for the PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. nothing new about it except the cost. graphics are old school, cars are old school. The game engine is old school. I’m sure pensioners will love it.
