Australian NASCAR driver Marcos Ambrose will be running iRacing.com sponsorship at the NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Pocono next weekend, taking the relationship between iRacing and Ambrose to the next step.
The online racing simulation has announced a partnership with Ambrose in May, an effort to attract more Australian racing fans to the simulation. Furthermore, iRacing maintains a strong relationship with NASCAR as an officially sanctioned NASCAR online series starts 2010.
You can find some photos of the iRacing.com car below, the chances that the Australian will do good on Sunday are quite high as Ambrose has been supplied with a pre-release version of iRacing’s vitual version of Pocono to practice racing on the tricky oval. Even without this advantage, the #47 car raced successful in the June Pocono race as Ambrose finished his Pocono-debut 6th.
