iRacing.com – New Machinery Coming Up
Posted on January 15th, 2009 in iRacing – 0 Comments
In a recent blog-posting, iRacing Executive Vice President Steve Myers has shared some inside information on what’s coming up for the iRacing.com online simulation.
Myers confirmed the earlier-reported features for the new build, including a fully customizable spotter, a brand new replay system, yellow and blue flags as well as the new open practice session system.
Most interestingly, he also confirms that iRacing is close to confirm a couple of significant licensing deals which will enrich the simulation’s lineup of cars. Without giving out much details, the new cars are said to include more European-style race cars as one of these contracts should mean the development of three new tin-top cars.
Other than the pricing, the heavy focus on American cars is the biggest turn-off for many European iRacing critics. This may change soon if these planned deals come through.
