You aren't trusting them with your open wallet. They don't charge it unless you have the option selected.

Also, the "Skip Barber Solstice" is 2 cars. And I can ride the kerbs in both the Skip Barber and the Solstice, so that's a non issue. Posting a video from a track which isn't even in the game won't help that cause.

Well I'm just not that impressed from just watching a vedio. Not enough to give it a (trial) and trust them with my open wallet. I watched videos of the Solstice; both real and in game. The game physics looked typically (for most sims) much more difficult then the real deal. That's why I asked if the Skip Barber Solstice was 100% street. Ride up on one rumble curb and you spin out. While in the real videos, they are riding over every one of them with no problem?

The free month from radical requires you give iRacing your credit card info.
</blockquote>

Not strictly true, as you can pay via Paypal now. But even if that wasn't the case, that's how free trials tend to work. It's a trial, not just a freebie.

Are these Solstices running in the SCCA T2 class? Because they seem to handle like straight street cars? There is a racing package form Pontiac for Solstice. I believe it is called the ZLK package. Here is a vid. of one. See how it's handling is so much more predictable.

Not in the traditional i.e. free sense :)

There have recently been some reduced price intro/demo offers such as $10 for one month or $25 for 3 months. Doesn't sound too bad if you are really interested. I think the argument goes - if you can't afford to pay for a trial you can't afford the full thing.

Very good primer video on the best racing sim available. You get what you pay for with iRacing, and I was an early skeptic. Happy to say I was wrong.
