– Mustang Nationwide Render has revealed the newest addition to the simulation’s oval racing content – The Ford Mustang NASCAR Nationwide car.

The Mustang is Ford’s weapon of choice for competition in the NASCAR Nationwide series, the second tier in American stock car racing that features many of the prominent Sprint Cup stars alongside upcoming young talents.

The Ford Mustang will be coming to iRacing this fall.

Word has it the Camaro is scanned too and will likely be released in the same timeframe. Here’s to hoping they get them driving right

Unfortunately the Camaro is not coming (yet?).
      Reaction of iRacing staff:

“We’re not doing the Camaro right now, and I don’t know when we’ll be doing it.”

Will they race in Montreal? I’d watch that.

Is this the stupidest looking car ever?

The grill and the lights just don’t match the shape of the car. Worst looking Nascar I’ve ever seen.

No, the Ford DP is. At least the Mustang has a front bumper, the DP had the standard Riley nose which is just a stub. Ford missed a great opportunity in restyling.

    Oh AWESOME!!!

Just what the sim needs… more oval content. (Rolls eyes).
