iRacing.com – Mclaren MP4-12C Release Date

iRacing has announced the release date of their Mclaren MP4-12, the first FIA GT3-spec car to join their simulation.

The Mclaren will be available starting December 18th, until then you can check out a new preview video below.

Powered by a 3.8 liter V8 bi-turbo engine, the MP4-12C is build to the FIA GT3 regulations based on the MP4-12C road car. The car made its competition debut in the British GT Championship last year and went on to compete in various events, including the Spa 24 Hours race.

    at least people will drive it. iRacing should take all this Class BS out of the way also iRatig and keep only SF.

    Classes and iRating exist so that drivers of similar experience and skill can be grouped together. This is in no way a bad thing, advancing through classes is not difficult

    Until you realize just how nice it is to not have to race with those guys with a Rookie0.0 license (nearly an incident every corner). Many members want it to be possible to be demoted from D class back to Rookie, there are a few D0.0 drivers out there as well, equally incapable of driving safely that nobody wants to share the track with.
