BSR-WiX: I was under the impression that iOpener would be a Subscription based feature?is that correct?

That was a question on their survey as I remember; hopefully you all voted for a one-off payment scheme?

Shift has really opened my eyes to how outdated the ISI engine is these days and it frustrates the hell out of me that it keeps on being regurgitated, time after time, for each new sim evolution from Simbin!

The RTR idea I’m sure will make waves and bring more and more drivers to the racing comunity. Sounds really well on paper, and even if the implement the AI recovery poorly it will still be fun to watch from behind how the dudes in front crash or fight with each other in epic maneuvers.

Long live Simbin (and Logitech)

On topic, I’m very interested on how the concept of driving in a race with real time data will work. I gues you’re racing ghost cars which cannot be hit or damaged? Or maybe you can redo a race in which your driving affects all other cars and their positions?

MiniMaestro: I do wonder why Simbin bother anymore with the sim racing community. No matter what they have lined up they are heckled and criticised, accused of deviating from sims and pandering to the needs of the console/arcade players.

I am pretty sure company´s like SImbin or ISI dont take community critisisme to seriously. We have to be honest, our small community of people who post here do not have a real affect on how producers think. I do talk to people in the gaming industry very often, and i have the impression that they are amused by it, rather then demotivated. For us its a passion, or a hobby… for them its a job and a business. the thinking patterns between the two dont really match.
So dont get worked up to much when somebody critisized something. There is nothing wrong with stating what you dont like.

For whats it worth I enjoy their offerings and not being an owner of STCC or Race07 look forward to purchasing Race On to combine with GTR Evo.

Whilst I am hopeful for a GTR3 with the current state of the FIA-GT Series. 2 Hour Races? Comon! and the expense of a Ferrari or Porsche license I remain slightly pessimistic.
