InsideSimRacing To Launch Live Shows

Insidesimracing has announced plans to air their popular “This Week in Sim Racing” show live using Youtube’s new live feature.

Live airing of the show would allow more viewer interaction and the show would still be available “on demand” for those who can’t view the live broadcast.

Long-time sim racers will remember that SRT experiment with increased viewer participation before, back in 2008 several SRT shows aired on a special channel that did include a live chat for all viewers.

    Why would anyone watch live sim racing..I would rather go on youtube, type in a major championship’s name and then go to settings and click (Filters, Duration, Long). Viola. Full length races of real cars..

    It’s not the sim racing they are broadcasting live, just their show about what’s happened this week in sim racing!
    But to answer your question people would watch sim racing live because they are a fan, because fans from all round the world from watch the sport they love be it Formula 1 to Football live!!

    “YouTube Live-Streams können nicht in Deutschland empfangen werden.

    Außerdem können Kanäle, gegen die Strafmaßnahmen eingeleitet wurden, keine Live-Streams übertragen, bis derartige Vorgänge ausgeräumt sind.”

    Of course it is unavailable in Germany …

    Thanks for posting this for us !! You tube is not helping though as we can only broadcast at 360p.. We’re hoping they unlock the 720 version for us to play with.
