The 2009 IRL season is due to start at St. Petersburg this weekend and thanks to Michael Peters, rFactor racers can already have a go at the new season.
The 2009 Indycar Series mod is based on the pre-season testing cars, race-by-race liveries will be added over the course of the season. Also included is the 2009 specification of the Dallara chassis and new red optional tires.
Despite the new features, the 2009 version of course includes all features of the 2008 edition such as fully RealFeel compatible physics, AI files for all IRL circuits and much more.

Enjoy everyone :)
Mass new mirrors are now going up.
I got caught by surprise when only one of my mirrors was appearing.
I now have 3 up, with more to come.
Dedicated server loop running called “rfactor.atheos.net” in MatchMaker running St Pete, Long Beach, Kansas, Indy!!!
Be sure to tune in this weekend to see the Indycar Series at St Pete on Versus!

Take your time bro. No need to rush. Get these SFX files sorted and actually look and reference to what the code is pointing to, because I’m tellin’ you Mike, these wavs that are noted in these SFX’s are NOT in this mod.
Vkt, the screens are right there below the description. Quit rolling your eyes and actually use them.

If you copy the Indy.sfx file from the Indy car 2008 mod folder to the 2009 folder it is fixed.

Mike:
What RealFeel settings have you determined are best for this mod? I didn’t see a readme in the 2009 download.
Thanks,
PK

Hell, I can’t remember the settings from the last one! I screwed up my RealFeel awhile back and had to reinstall it. I’ll poke around the 2008 mod page on rFC and try to find it.
Thanks.
