Indycar Series 2008 – First Previews

The rF Open Wheel Racing Project is working on bringing us the Indycar Series 2008 to rFactor. While their first rF Open Wheel Racing Mod already included some 2008 early season IRL cars, this mod will do this historic racing season justice.

Following the shutdown of the Champ Car Series, 2008 saw the first full season of a unified American open wheel racing series. Indycar Series 2008 will include all cars and drivers of the season, including race-specific liveries as well as brand new physics and other improvements. Below are the first previews, showing both oval and road racing action.

I hope this version is more compatible with RealFeel than the initial version, which was VERY promising. Mike Peters does fine work, and he’s very responsive to the constructive criticism of the sim community. Looking forward to this one!

iRacing.com – First Brands Hatch Screenshots

iRacing has released first screenshots of Brands Hatch, the second European track to make it into their online racing simulation. The shots show the track as it's currently undergoing the development process, including the laser-scanned surface and the buildings around the track's main straight. he 3,7 kilometer Brands Hatch circuited hosted 12 Formula One Grand Prix and is well known as a touring car venue these days, hosting both the WTCC & DTM as well as the British BTCC. Superleague Formula Game – Released

Image Space Incorporated and the Superleague Formula Series have released the Superleague Formula Game, bringing the 2009 SLF season to the PC. Based on ISI's popular gMotor 2 simulation engine, the game includes all cars, drivers, rules and tracks of the 2009 SLF season, the second in series history.
