iHUD for Android – Preview Video

Until now, MightyGate’s iHUD app was limited to Apple iOS devices. Now, the company has released first footage of their software running on Android hardware.

The video below shows iHUD for Android on three different devices, including a two-year old tablet, proving that the application isn’t exactly a performance hog.

iHUD turns mobile devices into data displays for various simulations, including rFactor, rFactor 2, Live for Speed & iRacing.

The software can display a variety of data, including:

•RPM
•Speed
•Times:
Best lap
Best sector
Current Lap
Relative time with the car behind you and the car ahead you
•Oil temp
•Water temp
•Actual position
•Gears
•Inputs: breaks or throttle.

Does it support GTR2, GTL and GTR evolution?? I’m still a huge fan of those and when will it be released…Then I will have something to look forward! Whooo! my samsung galaxy note goes to pension as iHUD ^^. I love the Note series.

this will make a great addition running along side both the Fanatec wheel and my SLI-like Arduino on my Galaxy Note II :)

add netKar PRO to that list!

It doesn’t seem to scale that well on different screen sizes.

For Simbin’s – I would recommend DASHMETER PRO. It works on them all and is even better – uses the whole screen. It even works with RRRE! I use my old HTC Desire, and have molded it on my TM wheel with Sugru ;-)

hhhhmmmm…..It’s bit expensive and if you would play more simulators like GTR 2 and Rfactor 2 you have to pay 11.90 euro. with iRacing added: 16.85 euro……:(

iHUD is already supporting Rfactor AND iRacing for 5.99 on the IOS version.

    Android with Dashmeter Pro ;-)

I would like more info about this process and more prospective of MightyGate.

It’s not release yet Phill, problably because of what bart.luyckx sayed: it has some scale issues…

YEs, but also a lot better. iHUD is really too small because it is not using the screen like it should do.

If you’re in for some budget apps. Look into SLIEmu. It’s a hassle to set up imo, but it’s not that expensive and works for iracing, rfactor and gtr2… etc.
