Hungaroring 2010 – Released

mrk37 & VRG have released the 2010 version of the Hungaroring for rFactor, bringing the current version of the Hungarian Grand Prix to the simulation.

Based on 6e66o’s & LMT’s 2009 version, the track comes with 2010 adboards and pit stalls as well as other features listed below.

Features:

- 2010 adverts and sponsor
- 2010 box with new Teams
- new material
- new objects
- new sky and ambient light
- other small fixes

Located near the state capital of Budapest, the Hungaroring has been hosting an annual Formula One Grand Prix since 1986, being the first behind the iron curtain. The track layout consists of 16 turns that make up a total track length of 4.3 kilometers.

    I simulated the weather of the real race. No clouds shadows and better light intensity  ;)

    Are there more than 24 grid slots? I’m more interested in using the circuit for LMS than for F1.

    The original track support only 24 slot

    Fix starting light
    - Open with Notepad Hungaroring_2010.GDB- Change NumStartingLights=6 TO NumStartingLights=5- Save

    Well, its not my track.
    I only made an update for it.

    If you want to ask for a permission, ask EMG Euro Danny.
    He converted the track for rf in the first place.
    Although he doesnt seem to be active anymore..

    Personally i wouldnt mind seeing my files being used in a conversion though,
    as long as you give credit.

    Is there any REAL change as the modification of the .tdf file to archieve a realistic surface?

    Only graphics updates. All parameters of the track are original.

    Is it possible, that the track has less Grip than the 2009 version?
    It’s much harder for me to get good times thank with 2009… weird.
    But all in all great work =) One of my favourite tracks.

    Thanks because the cloud shadows never worked correctly for me. I wasn’t going to download this until I saw that they were removed.

    I think the chicane is correct. But the AI just jumps over the curbs right into the barrier. I have the same problem with the 2009 version of the track. Is it possible for me to fix this problem? thx for answers :)

    I get a fatal exception trying to run a dedicated server with this track (endurance mod 1.2 by Enduracers). Any idea what could be wrong? Thanks hoover

    Sorry, I’ve only tried the 2010 version so far. I’ll check the other version you mentioned.

    BTW, just tried the track in a bare bones rf lite install on a dedicated server, still no luck with the 2010 version.

    Hm, apparently the 2009 version works fine. I tried selecting the 2010 version after installing 2009, but it still fails with a fatal exception during track loading.

    at least I can now run on the new layout!
