HistoriX – Extensive Preview Videos

While preview videos of the Historic GT and Touring Car mod for rFactor are nothing new on VirtualR, these are rather significant.

Niels_at_home has released two extensive preview videos that shows most of the GTC76 class cars in action at Mid-Ohio. Those of you that wait patiently for the release of this mod will be happy to hear that this set of videos is named “final previews”, indicating that we might get our hands on this one rather soon.

So if you`re looking forward to this mod, sit back and enjoy almost 17 minutes of preview material. And make sure to crank up those speakers as the cars sound mighty impressive.

These cars look a little drifty to me but maybe that is just driving style and setup. Not that drifting isn’t fun. It just doesn’t yield the fastest laps. But from the looks of it the cars are very controllable even past the limit. The Escort and Pantera sound amazing. I don’t recall the Escort sounding this good in GTL.

I enjoy GTL, I enjoy P&G and it looks like I will enjoy this one also!
I just wish these preview videos would have been higher quality.

Fuji Speedway by Virtua_LM – New Previews

Virtua_LM has released new previews of another stunning track creation for rFactor, showing us new shots of the Japanese Fuji Speedway in late 80s specification. Located near the famous Mount Fuji in Oyama, Japan, Fuji Speedway was opened in 1963. The track was a popular venue for sports car races as the track was part of the FIA World Sports Car Championship for Group C prototypes from 1982 to 1988. Audi R15 TDI for GTR2 1.0 – Released

Alless has released his Audi R15 TDI for GTR2, adding Audi's current Le Mans Prototype challenger to the simulation. F1 2010 – First Previews & Infos

Even though Codemasters announced that their Formula One 2010 game will be revealed to the media on March 17th, first details have now been disclosed via the Official Xbox Magazine. The four-page preview article includes first-ever preview screenshots of the upcoming game, showing various cars in action on several tracks. MMG has released their Formula One 2007 mod for GTR Evolution/RACE 07, bringing a high-quality Formula One mod to Simbin's franchise.
