Historic GT & Touring Car – Shelby Cobra Preview Video

rFactor video maker stabiz has released a new preview video of HistorX upcoming new rFactor mod, showing us the legendary Shelby Daytona Coupe in action at Le Mans.

Powered by a 4.7l Ford V8 engine putting out 380hp, the Daytona Coupe started it’s racing career in the 1964 season, winning various high-profile endurance races like the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring.

Using GT Legends as a base, the Historic GT & Touring Car mod for rFactor proved to be one of the most popular releases for the simulation. The second version of the mod will be bringing many popular racing cars from the past to rFactor, inlcuding the Ferrari 330, the Porsche 904, the Aston Martin DB4 and many others.

    Hi Rantam,

    Would you guys like some good physics data for this car? I can put you in touch with the original designer of the Daytona Coupe. He happens to be a very close friend of mine. His voice is actually featured in the beginning of your video. Who knows, I might even be able to get him to test drive it in one of our simulators :) I can certainly put others who actually raced these cars as well.
