Historic GT & Touring Car 2.0 – Over the Limit Video Trailer

rFactor video maker stabiz has released a new video trailer of HistorX upcoming new rFactor mod, showing many of the mod’s cars in action on various tracks.

Using GT Legends as a base, the Historic GT & Touring Car mod for rFactor proved to be one of the most popular releases for the simulation. The second version of the mod will be bringing many popular racing cars from the past to rFactor, including the Ferrari 330, the Porsche 904, the Aston Martin DB4 and many others.

    This video really shows Niels physics at work, it’s amazing, but damn I hate the way slow motion in rFactor brings out the ugliness in animations like it’s working at half the frame rate of the footage. More things I hope rF2 fixes.

    btw Stabiz if you’re reading this, I don’t think you keyframed the defocus effect properly. If you just modify the radius property between 2 keyframes right before you fade it will look much smoother and the whites won’t turn grey ether hopefully, I’m not sure how you did that lol. :grin:

    Carbon: Yeah, I did it like that to make it more brutal. And yes, Niels is truly a magician.

    Btw: This video has two cars that have not been shown before. The 69` Trans-Am Mustang and the GT40 X1. (And there is still mooooore, hehe)

    I’m not such a magician that I can make cars handle that I haven’t touched yet though. :) Quite a few of the recent videos from our mod feature our new cars which I haven’t touched! (or crashed.. :P)
