Heidfeld – Breaking the Seven Minute Barrier

Several months after his fist chance to run demo laps on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, BMW Sauber F1′s Nick Heidelf once again tackled the famous Green Hell. With less press and fans around to get distracted, Germany’s quickest F1 driver managed to put down some quick laps, including a 6:55 minute lap.
“Ever since my first laps in April, I was thinking about which corners could be improved and where to make up speed,” Heidfeld said. “I am glad I was given another chance to prove myself and it certainly paid out!”
