GTX5 – Lancia Mid Ohio Previews

Following the hidden preview along with the latest Mid Ohio release, Virtua_LM has now released three brand-new preview shots of their GTX5 mod project for rFactor.

The screenshots show a full field of Lancia Beta Montecarlos racing at Mid Ohio.

GTX5 will include the high-powered and extreme racing cars of the Group 5 era which were powered by insanely powerful turbo engines and featured very extensive body modifications. Notable cars of that era were the Porsche 935, the BMW 320 and the Ford Capri which managed to win all major endurance races of that time, including the Le Mans 24 Hours.

    I’ve been waiting for releases from VLM a while now, and its not funny anymore. VLM don’t tease like this, you know we all await for it and as soon as possible. Many will lose interest in this sims and it won’t be fun anymore. What happend to LeMans 1991-1996 track you’ve been working on?

    This was the mod that made buy rFactor 2 years ago (I was playing VLM’s Proto-C for F1C back then), and I will wait as long as VLM needs to release it! :)

    It seems i keep clicking over this article on the GTX5 project, and thought to ask if it will be released for other titles like GTR2 or GTL or newer ones?
