I do not see any available online timeattacks since the update.
Online play works fine, ports are forwarded properly.
Anybody have any idea?

So much displeasure here about some unimportant folder changes.

It's a good move from simbin to solve the problem with non-administrator rights for vista and upcoming windows-versions.

I guess, some changes what the patch has done will effect more future things of the simulation than what we expect now.

HUD and Menus were ignored, they do not stay on the center screen. Also, moving the userdata files was total BS, Simbin, you really disappointed me here. I've been supporting you with all games and all formats, even pre ordered Race Pro.... but this patch is BS and changing for Vista users is BS.

Think before you React, now we all have to work to adjust the chenges. How about a waring for folks that think all changes were not needed. Allow the user to decide WTF you change. After all, I purchased the game from you and it is my Computer.

This patch was poorly tested, rushed to release and does not address a few additonal isses like the C5R problem, or the center screen issues for TH2G users.

Was to allow Vista users to access the folder without having administrator rights, as I've understood the changelog.

About what morning_wood said with co-lo servers, don't feel sorry, because we did not experience any problem. The files that were moved are only "client-sided". Nothing to do on the server, it just runs.

Customskins are not on the server, but only in clients install folders.

I'm sorry for what happened to Rich, tho. RSC being down, i guess they would have warned us if it wasn't.

Great patch, particularly about the FOV ! I haven't tried yet, i hope the UI (HUD and menus) stay on the central screen, now !

I have found many errors and bad things in this update. Forcing a major filestructure change without warning/alerting the user is irresponsible and a real bad move on SimBin. I feel sorry for those with co-lo servers and positive security restrictions to be forced to change file structures, many will not be able to perform this...

IT IS A VERY POOR PATCH THAT WAS FORCED ON THE USERS

This update was available right before the moment we had a full server field on simracing.nl.
This was hell, everybody lost their settings.
Dedicated server unavailable, version error.
So the solution for storing the files in the my documents/simbin folder was found quickly.
A backup server was up and running some time later.

This major file stoarage change could have been anounced by steam.
That why steam has got such a nice message system, use it..before not after, dummies...

Now suddenly the server browser is acting funny.
Not showing any servers for some while.
Sometimes no servers to be found at all.
Refresh works not all the time, or still can find anything.
This was confirmed by multiple players.

Nice the FOV can be adjusted in a wider range.
Like the other gMotor titles, great for my triple screen.

This was quite a hectic evening...
Thanks to this patch..

I hope Simbin do release an offline patch soon. :sad2: I'd especially appreciate the multiple Championships patch.

Looks like a good few improvements there.
