Petrs73 has converted GTR2’s GT class to GTR Evolution, bringing us the long-awaited Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maseratis everyone has missed. His GTR2GT mod includes all GT cars of the 2003 and 2004 FIA GT season:
Ferrari 550 Maranello
Ferrari 575 GTC
Chevrolet Corvette C5R
Chrysler Viper GTS-R
Lamborghini Murcielago
Lister Storm
Maserati MC12
Porsche 993 GT2
Saleen S7
All cars come with working windscreen wipers and GTR2 stock physics, meaning that racing them against the balanced GT Pro class cars will not give you very close races.
If you use the Steam version of GTR Evolution, please drop the files in your “\steamapps\*YOURPROFILE*\Race 07″ folder.

Nice… would not have included the S7R, C5R, lister or GTSR however as the newer ones in evo are much improved.

Quite a few bugs in this, 550’s have no working rev lights, all cars except the Lambos have a headlight problem when watching in tv cam, they flick on and off from right to left, ff effects are totally different from rest of GTRE cars, theres no working brake disc glow, and a better class icon could be done for the menu’s and team makes, even better would to be to slot cars into the GTRE classes, not in their own.

@ gopher, as the post says the cars are straight from gtr 2 so the performance compared to the gtr evo cars would make much worse races.

Haven’t tested it yet, but it sounds good in general. But if they physically don’t fit to the GT Pro’s it’s a litte bit senseless in my eyes. Hopefully this will be fixed to mix those both classes together. :)

- icreased FFB strength in HDC files
- ActionCam added (Default Cams for Lamborghini – prevent crash to desktop)
