GT5 Prologue – Update Available

The October-update for Polyphony’s Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is available now, bringing a bunch of new cars and features to the Playstation 3 racer.

Star of the update is the Citroen GT concept car, a virtual design study only available in Gran Turismo. Other cars include the Ferrari California convertible and the Lotus Evora. Like the Citroen, both cars have been promoted by appearing in the GT world prior to their real-life sales start.

Other features include bugfixes and new car physics, all Gran Turismo Prologue owners can download the update for free now.

    Hmm damn impressive. I checked out the PS3 blog Flickr album and the shots are just amazing. However I really want to see how this and Ferrari Project match up head-to-head. Wish Blimey! would hurry up with some more content. :mad:

    Also GT5 has really gotten its reputation set it stone, considering that a car company would want to collaborate with them to come up with a hot looking concept. :smile:

    How do you update? When I start the game, I don’t get a notice of an update. Neither does it find an update when I check for it using the Options-menu…
    Also, I can’t seem to find anything in the PS store.

    I do live in Belgium. Maybe this is a US/Japan-only update?

    Would love to drive that Citroën!
